Closer to home, our brochures are fully recyclable, thanks to water-soluble sealants and vegetable-based inks. Currently, 61% of our mailings are compostable, and we’re working hard to make the remaining 39% recyclable as well.
In addition, we are transitioning to paperless documentation across our operations. Through our partnership with d-flo, we provide customer travel documents electronically. Sending travel documents by email results in 90% lower carbon emissions compared to traditional printing and mailing. As part of their TREE(3) programme, d-flo also offsets the carbon from email communication by planting trees on our behalf, contributing to global efforts against climate change.
