Why Hotel Costa Verde?
This place has a private beach, together with a huge pool. And you even get free entry to the Acqua Verde waterpark.
You’ll find this big hotel on a hillside above Cefalu. It’s a 15-minute drive from the town itself, but the local bus into town stops just outside.
As well as a huge pool, the hotel has its own private beach – there’s a shuttle bus that’ll get you there in less than 10 minutes. There’s a waterpark down the road, too, and guests get in free.

There’s a wellness centre* that’s open in summer. It comes with a sauna, Turkish bath, Roman bath and steam bath. There’s also a relaxation area, and a spa where you can have a facial or massage. The gym here comes with cardio equipment and free weights. There’s also a hairdresser.
Wellness centre* mid Jun – mid Sep: Open from mid-June to mid-September, this place features a whirlpool with underwater jets and jet showers, a sauna, Turkish bath, Roman bath, steam bath and cold steam bath. Plus there’s a relaxation area and beauty spa for face and body treatments.

There are poolside activities like water polo and aqua aerobics. There’s also canoeing and windsurfing. Plus you can have a go at sailing – free lessons are available for beginners. Volleyball is hosted down on the beach. Away from the water, there’s archery and boules, as well as two tennis courts. Children, meanwhile, get their own playground and soft-play area.

There’s a restaurant with a sea-view terrace. Food-wise, it serves Continental breakfasts and buffet dinners, with a good mix of traditional Italian dishes. In summer there’s a weekly barbecue on the beach.
Buffet restaurant: Offering a continental breakfast, buffet lunch and dinner. Sample the local, traditional Italian and international cuisine on offer. You can choose to dine indoors, or on the outside terrace with views of the Mediterranean sea.
Piano bar: Enjoy the live music taking place throughout the week.
Open-air restaurant: This place comes complete with a grill, and can be found at the beach from June to September.
Barbecue: aking place weekly by the beach, this is a great alternative to dinner at the hotel if you fancy a change of scene.

There’s live music throughout the week at the piano bar. There’s also an open-air theatre, where you can check out local shows. These include a Sicilian night, featuring folk music and dancing during the summer. In high season there are discos. You can also check out the regular film nights.
Miniclub June to September: The hotel runs the miniclub for ages 4 to 12 years.
