Why Pickalbatros Jungle Aqua Park – Neverland?
Boasting 32 pools: 1 heated pool for adults, 1 heated pool for children, 11 water slides and 19 swimming pools, this resort in Hurghada is a true water theme park. Its rooms feature a terrace or balcony overlooking the pools or the resort’s gardens.
The Jungle Park offers bungalow-style rooms set around the swimming pools. The bright rooms are decorated with the warm colors of African art. All rooms have a TV, a mini-bar, and an private bathroom.
The several eateries in the resort cater for every taste. Mediterranean, German, Mexican and Oriental cuisine are just some of the options available. The resort also features a number of pool bars, providing light meals and drinks throughout the day.
Children’s pools and a kid’s club are available at the Jungle Park, along with several sport facilities, including a tennis court, a football field and minigolf.
You can enjoy using the private sandy beach at Dana Beach Resort.
Hurghada is just a 25 minutes’ drive away, and is easily accessible by shuttle bus or by car.

Almost everywhere you look here there’s a pool – in fact, there’s 47 in total. Sizes range from huge lagoon numbers to smaller, quieter options. In the main heated pool, there are lots of activities, too. A few minutes’ walk from the main hotel is the waterpark, with 81 slides in total. Rides include the group slide, the twister and the wave slide. There’s also a lazy river, and a separate pool for children.

Weight restrictions vary – depending on the waterslide. The big rafting slide is 100kg, meanwhile, for a 2-person slide, such as the Black Hole, it’s 220kg for both. The Up Hill slide, for 1 person, has a minimum weight of 55kg and a max of 120kg.

Food-wise, there are 11 restaurants, ranging from German places to Italian and Asian. Or you can play it safe at the English restaurant, which does a mean line in roasts and fish and chips. TripAdvisor reviewers love the made-to-order pizzas at the Mediterranean and Italian restaurants. There’s a cake shop and ice-cream parlour, and a weekly barbecue by the main pool.
