Why Ancient Sands Golf Resort?
On Egypt’s stunning Red Sea Riviera with an elevated position, Ancient Sands Resort provides a unique
combination of apartment and hotel accommodations all with incredible views of the sea, golf course, lagoons and coastal mountains. Hurghada International Airport is just a 30-minute drive away.
All air-conditioned suites feature Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge area,
a private bathroom and a balcony or terrace with incredible views. Daily housekeeping is also offered at the property.
Reception is available 24-hour and our team is at your service anytime. Five swimming pools including exquisite infinity edges to optimize the views are dotted through the resort for the use of residents and guests. A beauty salon and a gym is available to guests of the resort. The first 9 holes of the golf course is open.
The popular Piazza Restaurant offering an international cuisine is at the heart of the resort and open for lunch, while the newly opened Crumbs Café offers freshly baked bread, roasted coffees and patisserie to enjoy.

Full payment is required at the time of booking via bank transfer. Once your payment is processed (within 24 hours to 3 business days, depending on your bank), you will receive a confirmation email and will be asked to provide all necessary traveler details, such as full names and passports/IDs for flight bookings. Your flight tickets and complete vacation details will be sent to you via email within 20 days of payment confirmation.
There’s a whole handful of pools dotted around the resort, including three that are heated in the winter months.

Two restaurants take care of mealtimes –a pizzeria for snacks and an around-the-world buffet, which lays on theme nights like Egyptian, Asian and Italian. There’s a smart-looking lounge bar, too, plus a café-cum-bakery that does croissants, hot drinks and sourdough sandwiches.

And don’t worry if you’re a complete novice – introductory courses* take place three times a week. There’s a qualified pro on hand to give lessons* here as well if you just want to improve your existing game. There’s a dive centre* here if you’re looking to head out to the Red Sea to discover the colourful coral reefs. Back on dry land, there’s a daily activity programme, which covers the likes of ping pong, darts and aqua aerobics.
