You’ve got 11 pools here. There’s a family one, another for some peace and quiet, plus one with activities and music. If that wasn’t enough, there are also three kids’ pools, a lazy river and a surf rider* machine. There are three swim-up bars dotted about, so you don’t have to leave the water to order up your next cocktail. Plus, a waterpark, complete with 26 themed slides.

Here, you’ll have plenty of pools to try. They are dotted around the resort and have various themes. There is the central pool where activities take place and the sax pool where you go to enjoy the sound of silence.

A themed waterpark with nine high-speed slides – for teens and adults, plus eight kid-friendly slides, too. The waterpark also has a food truck area open from midday ’til 5pm, a family pool, plus a dry and wet bar. Access to the waterpark is included during your stay. All children under the age of 8 years must be supervised by an adult. Bear in mind, Rockaway Bay waterpark’s availability, schedules and Ts&Cs of use are subject to change without prior notice.

You can can a wave on the hotel’s own surf simulator over by the main pool. Just so you know, this is only available for ages 4 and over.

The dining scene is just as glamorous – you’ve got a restaurant for every night of the week, including an Italian, Asian Fusion restaurant and a steakhouse. The buffet puts on plenty of Dominican cuisine at breakfast and lunch. Plus, there are three buffet venues and a couple of snack bars, too. Other foodie highlights include the Asian restaurant* called Youyo, the Split, which serves American subs and sandwiches, and Stacked for burgers and milkshakes.
