One of the three pools has indoor and outdoor sections. Described as a sports pool, it stretches from inside the wellness centre and out onto the sun terrace, meaning you can swim lengths that go from inside to open air. The other two pools are outside, and one’s is an infinity number. If you want to hit the sand, pebbly Mulini Beach is a two-minute walk from the hotel, and overlooks Lone Bay.

The Primi Terreni Restaurant majors in grill-themed dining, with meals made on an open cooking station. And the Cap Aureo Signature Restaurant overlooks the marina, and has a chef’s table. Katarina’s Patisserie cures hunger pangs between meals. It serves up coffee, cakes and ice-creams, as well as Italian-inspired aperitifs and cocktails.

This buffet restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. In the evenings, you can enjoy the buffet delights or order from the à la carte menu.

This pool bar serves up cocktails and mocktails, juices and smoothies, plus snacks.

Katarina’s Patisserie
You’ll find delicious cakes, freshly brewed coffee and ice-cream, plus Italian-inspired aperitifs and cocktails. And if you’re feeling peckish then light bites are on offer such as sandwiches, salads and quiches.

This bar features a cigar lounge and a terrace where you can sip Champagne by the glass and take in the view of Rovinj’s old town. There’s a food and beverage service here, in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Primi Terreni restaurant
Seating here is arranged around a show-cooking island section where chefs concoct full and flavoursome grilled dishes. There’s a deli selection which lays out a spread of cold cuts, cheese and bread, plus a private wine corner. And last but not least, a bar and lounge area where you can pick up a classic cocktail or two.

Cap Aureo Signature restaurant
This restaurant is the go-to place for views of the marina and Rovinj’s old town. It’s located on the 5th floor and is complemented by a terrace, too. Enjoy the culinary delights from the open kitchen here.

At night, you can head to the Viva Eufemia. This bar specialises in Champagne, and has a sprawling outdoor terrace with panoramic views of Rovinj’s old town. You’ll also find a cigar lounge in here.

Kids’ club
The hotel-run kids’ club is for ages 4 to 12 years and has a full activity programme running from June 15th to September 15th. For the rest of the year, the programme is limited and on request. The seemingly endless list of activities includes craft workshops, games and quizzes, face-painting, Croatian language lessons, video games, treasure hunts, mini-discos, magic shows and cartoon nights. Children under 4 are welcome but need to be accompanied by an adult.

In the spa and wellness centre, three Finish saunas – one of which is outside – are joined by two steam rooms and a cold plunge pool. The spa facilities are all included in the price of your stay.

Àlbaro Spa & Wellness
Spa goers can make use of the facilities at the Àlbaro Spa & Wellness. It’s split over two levels and is part inside, part outside. It includes a couple of Finnish saunas, a steam room, a cold plunge pool and ice fountain, and three relaxation areas. They use local flowers, sea salts and clay in their treatments*, and signature treatments include the Batana bodywork and Istrian rakija therapies.

Daytime activities and sports are high on the list of things to do here. There’s 12 tennis courts – eight of which will be outside – as well as bike hire* and yoga classes*. Children can let off steam at the hotel-run kids’ club. The hotel staff put on Croatian language sessions, face painting, magic shows and treasure hunts.
