All-Inclusive: 7 nights at Spring Hotel Bitacora, Tenerife, Canary Islands

There are five pools overall, one with a waterslide and a large shallow area for children, and one for kids exclusively. There’s also a big family pool in the middle of it all, edged by loungers and parasols, with lawns and palm trees adding a bit of greenery. Plus, there’s an adults only pool in the spa.

Onsite waterpark
You’ve got a multilane slide, plus a couple of spiral slides at the waterpark. Just so you know, guests must be a minimum height of 1.20m to try the slides.

The kids’ pool comes complete with a waterslide.

Outdoor pools
There are five swimming pools in total. One’s just for kids, one with a waterslide, a big family-friendly number, and two just for adults. Each pool is edged by loungers and parasols, with lawns and palm trees adding a bit of greenery.

Main meals are dished up at the restaurant. Expect big buffet spreads starring cooked-to-order omelettes at breakfast, and soups, roasts and Spanish staples at dinner. An à la carte menu is available at the pool bar* for lunch. In the pool area, a shaded bar serves iced sangria and snacks from pizzas and burgers, to salads and sandwiches.

This adults-only bar is right next to the adults-only pool. Offering cocktails, beer and soft drinks.

Snacks, tapas, ice-cream, plus a variety of drinks are on the menu at Papayas Bar. Snacks are served from 12.30 to 17.30. Plus, there’s an à la carte lunch served from 12.30-13.30, daily.

There’s daily daytime entertainment here, including team games and sports, as well as family and water-based activities. Come evening, professional shows, live bands and dance acts are the warm-up to family-friendly discos.
