Three pools are scattered around the grounds. Two of them are paired with smaller kids’ pools, while the other’s an adults only number that’s in a sea-view spot. You’ve got more than 300 metres of private beach to spread out on. Kick back on a sunbed, or splash out on a day in one of the private cabanas*.

Two buffet restaurants are on hand for international spreads at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The à la carte offering, meanwhile, lines up Mediterranean, Japanese, seafood and Middle Eastern fare. Seafood’s the speciality in the evenings at this restaurant, while the beach bar serves up sandwiches, snacks, ice creams and cocktails throughout the afternoons.

Traditional Egyptian dancing, folklore shows and live music performances are all on the agenda at the amphitheatre. If you’d prefer something quieter, you can chill out with a book in the library, or puff on a pipe at the shisha bar. Little ones can get stuck in to arts and crafts at the kids’ club. It’s also fitted with its own pool – complete with a couple of slides – and a playground.
