This place has two pools serving different parts of the complex – the big, main pool is where you’ll find the music and daytime entertainment. Right by the main pool, there’s a little paddling pool with a splash park for children, which is also heated during the winter.

2 outdoor pools: You’ll have two pools to choose from, both set in sunny terraces and surrounded by sunbeds and parasols. One pool is the main pool where you’ll find all the water based activities and the second is a smaller, quieter pool which is acclimatised from November to April.

Children’s pool and splash park: The children’s pool is heated from November to April.

The restaurant offers à la carte options, along with snacks throughout the day. There’s also a poolside place for drinks.

Restaurant: The restaurant puts on buffet or à la carte meals depending on how full the hotel is at the time.
Pool bar: You’ll find this bar in the poolside restaurant.

Taste*: From a latte to an iced coffee, or a camomile tea even – you’ll find it at this café. Plus, the snack menu lists sandwiches, paninis and burgers, as well as pasta and pizza. And there’s a kids’ menu too. Just to let you know, Taste is closed in the winter.
Sports Bar: The decor in this bar pays homage to sports, including a large portrait of a football and a basketball on its walls. You’ll be able to catch up on the latest sports via a projector screen here, with a drink in hand, too.

There’s table tennis and a pool table* to keep you busy. For little ones there’s a TUI KIDS’ CLUB from May to mid-October.

Puerto del Carmen is on the southeast side of Lanzarote in in the Canary Islands. It first got going in the Sixties and since then it’s upped the tempo from its fishing village roots to become a very lively holiday hub. The waterside promenade doubles up as the main strip – it’s packed with bars, clubs and restaurants, and it also looks out over a trio of beaches. You still get a bit of Puerto del Carmen’s former charm, though, as you’ll see from the authentic eating places in the old town.
